At least on the PC.Ĭonsoles have an offline mode, thats why there are lots of hacked items and characters there. It was built that way from the ground up. Its always online multiplayer, but you can opt out of multiplayer by setting your game to private. There is no offline single player mode for Diablo 3. While it may take the fun away for most people, it can really be the whole exciting part for some.īecause Diablo 3 was designed as an always online game. I fully expect this post to get a lot of flak but please understand that cheating can be enjoyable especially for people that have already been through the entire game several times over. It's frankly ridiculous that it's to this extreme, so I am asking just what happened that made Blizzard crack down on cheating in single player? I'm not familiar with Diablo III's player base or really anything that happens online in this game. However, why is using something like cheat engine or a trainer that big of a problem when playing alone? It legitimately doesn't hurt anyone and yet it's treated like some terrible thing akin to issuing death threats in an online game's chat. Cheating in multiplayer should always result in a ban, no tolerance for cheating there. Okay, lemme preface this by stating my opinion about cheating.Ĭheating is fine! As long as it DOESN'T affect other people. Last updated at 14:00:17 UTC Weekly Help Desk RAGE Loot Thread Trade Thread
